Introduction

  This directory contains a source distribution of TIBCO General
  Interface - Professional Edition, a platform and integrated
  development environment (IDE) for developing rich GUI applications
  delivered through a modern web browser.

Getting Started

  To get started developing TIBCO General Interface applications,
  open GI_Builder.html in a supported web browser (see Browser
  Platforms below). Download the documentation and view the 
  API Reference and tips documents on http://gi.tibco.com.

Source Distribution

  This directory contains a source distribution of TIBCO General
  Interface - Professional Edition. The source distribution is useful
  for creating customized builds, viewing source code, and modifying
  TIBCO General Interface. A pre-built "binary" distribution of TIBCO
  General Interface, which is optimized for deployment, can be
  downloaded from http://gi.tibco.com.

  The latest source can always be accessed anonymously using
  Subversion at http://gi.tibco.com/svn/. Use the following command
  to check out the trunk branch:

  %> svn co http://gi.tibco.com/svn/trunk/gi

Building

  This source distribution of TIBCO General Interface - Professional
  Edition can be packaged into an optimized "binary" build. See
  build/BUILD for more information.
